Besides the beach relax you can take
a cultural tour in the adjacent area.

At the entrance of the Santa Gusta town,
just few kilometres from Abarossa beach,
there is a Basilica romanica of the XII century.
On the first Sunday of August, in the Pool of Santa Giusta
there is a traditional regata de is fassonis, traditional Phoenician boats made of sheaves of ditch reedsand driven,
with a long barge-pole, by standing boatmen.

Oristano offers the opportunity to visit a series
of historical and religious monuments from which stand out the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Tower of san Cristoforo,
the Statue of Eleonora D’Arborea, made by the sculptor Ulisse Campi in the 1888, and the War Memorial in Piazza Mariano IV.

it is possible to admire archaeological finds come from the local nuraghi and the ancient city of Tharros and important Spanish handicrafts of the XV-XVI century.
